Tom,

Make sure the Drive dog has more room for the prop nut.

The new propellers have a little longer hub.

Nice looking boat.

Great finish work Tom, I'm sure with the quality of your work Tom you will have an awesome running boat.
Thanks for the compliment Tim.

I have been out of the hobby for a while.

Looking forward to getting wet again.

I am actually one of the founding members of the

River City Racing Club in Evansville Indiana.

Started in 1980---getting old.

I like the way you mounted the antenna. One less thing to deal with when you take the radio box lid off or put it back on.

Is the antenna tube siliconed in place?
Yes Brian, the transom on this boat is 3/8 inch thick. So I drilled at an angle for the tube. There is plenty of surface area for a good base to support antenna. I then sanded end of tube and extended tube through transom. Put a small amount of silicone on tube inside of radio box then pull tube up a little to seal in place.

Then extend antenna through tube and seal wire at top with small amount of silicone grease and install cap.

Awe the smell of nitro in the spring

It has been a long time for me

Finally was able to travel at the lake to do some testing on a warm day

Of coarse the wind was blowing 23-30 and was only able to run on one end of the lake

Video attached

Not really able to test much but st least I got wet

Tom,

Looking good already.

Too windy here also.

I have had 10 new propellers to test for a couple

of weeks now. Maybe at Easter this weekend.

Thanks For The Video,

Mark Sholund

Butch,

So with you, Tom, and Ron racing this past weekend who had the

best heat race set up?

We had a nice 21-Hydro race in Saginaw yesterday with Mike Betke

showing us all how it is done on the race course. My new Blackjack-21

is coming along well after its first race and will need to improve in the next

two weeks before Burton's Mini Gold Cup Race.

Enjoy Testing,

Mark Sholund
