Looking forward to the arrival of my NEW.12 SGX EAGLE

I have had a blast with my .12 lighting with a modified OS MAX.

Looking forward to running a few .12 NOVAROSSI i have purchased .

Few pics of the little Powerplants ill be running

Ken,

It will be too small for a 12 Hydro when you get the right set up on the boat.

The 12's are a lot of fun testing and pretty cheap to own and run.

Thanks For Sharing Ken,

They are really exciting to race if everyone can keep them running for 6 laps.

I've raced a few heats like that. Most of the time though, racing .12 class is like tip toeing through a mine field

I have raced many classes, with several set ups, several types of boats. I think it was in 1992-1993 when I built my first .12. I like them the best.

I used an OS engine with side exhaust. I had to have a flex shaft coupling drilled out and re-tapped, modified a .21 flywheel, and I took out the

tin snips to a S-215 prop. When all was said and done. All the trouble was well worth it. God only knows how many .12s I have built since then.

since then. They are definitely fun to build and run.

There are a lot of guys who think they are a waste of time, but it's not their time. It's your time. Build on

Marty,

I could not agree with you more.

12's are just a challenge to get set up and running well

in the beginning. Then the fun meter goes up from there.

Great acceleration and really light on the water. Sure is nice

to go to the lake with a cordless starter and a little pit box.

As simple as it gets as far as pit equipment goes.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

I should go cordless, but i'm so proud of my battery box, it is hard to give it up.

Here are a few. I have inboard/outboard switch, Charge/Power switch, and a twist-lock plug. 24 Volt power.

The base is a $9.00 metal tool box that I got at Harbor Freight. I put a strap from a Milwaukee tool bag on it.

I also have 10' of 12 gauge SO cord on the starter, so I have plenty of room to move around.
