Hi there Im running a 13cc k&b with a pipe on my 1/4 scale dpi and although it hasent been run much due to work commitments it is showing alot of promise Good luck with it and im sure some of the others on here that are much more experienced than me can help you out.

Hey there. I was just going to ask the same question about makeing a brass prop shaft liner! Just broke the shaft on my13cc K&B and it damaged the teflon liner. On my inboard tunnel it runs brass with no problems so whynot do the same on a OB? Also whats the secret to making shafts last...

Yeah, I was thinking twins also!! as I have another 13cc OB. But I might try that later as building the single setup was enough of a chalenge for my limited enginering skills!!

Thanks guys, The hull is a copy of a dpi made of fiberglass here in New Zealand. I brought the hull and deck joined and did the rest my self exept the decals which were copied from a poster (French 24hour race). As this is the first boat that i have put together im quite proud of it. :rolleyes:

Hi guys Well I finally got it finished and test ran it on the weekend!! I was very pleased with the results, ran well but conditions were not good and I have some tuning to do but not bad for a first attempt i think? Check out the pic!

Thanks guys , I have a parther 250 and a octura x450 spare so will give them a try. As this is the first boat that i have built im sure the set up will need some tinkering. First run this Saturday hopefully!! Thanks Shane.

Hi Bob I am with you, I am still building up a 1/4 scale DPI copy. Hopefully getting painted next week and then I can finish assembling it. Powered by a 13cc K&B. Initially I will run this stock and after testing (successfully hopefully) I will put the pipe on it (Thanks again for the pipe)...
