Hi all i bought a batch of this glue at the Toledo show 4 yrs ago opened the box and noticed the hardener was a very dark ruby red color . Would this resin still be useable or should i dispose of it ? The resin hsa been stored at 68 degrees F year round . Regards Andris Golts.

Do a test and check it. Take a 1x2x6 and glue it to another 1x2x6 in the shape of a V. GLue the end of 1x2 to the other end of 1x2. Then try and leverage them apart. See how well it holds.

My West systems hardeners go amber and are fine.

It will usually be fine they do this rather quickly. Had a West system hardener do it after only 6 months recently. Guessing it wasn't fresh when received.
As Mike said test a batch and be sure it hardens and acts proper and aside from the tint it will probably be usable.
