Is there anybody out there?

Andre,

Quite a few people have them, but they work so well they don't want to sell them?

Yes i´m afraid of that but if someone is changing Engine brand from Picco to Novarossi or AA45 it maybe will be one over for me. ;)

Until then which mods can be done on the stock picco carb to make it preform better? :D

Also WTB a VAC45 Gen II Zoom Carb

Either drill it out to .437" cit the low end needle out of it. Or find a .67 picco carb and cut the low end out of it.

That's Fact !! the Zoom Carbs for picco 45 had been sold 7 to 10 limit I have one so I love it B)

yeah, and Charles Perdue seems to not want to build anymore carbs right now or in the near future.

Seems the Zoom carbs for the new Picco 45R (black case/blue-head) engines sold way faster than he anticipated last year, moreso than the CMB 45VAC carbs (which he had left-overs for a while)

Are the stock Picco 45R carbs that bad? Is it mostly smaller I.D. difference?

Try an OS 40a carb. You'll never go back! Cheaper and you can run the in-flight needle. Real nice package.

Yes, it will bolt straight on but you need to machine a small step into the rear plate to accommodate the flange on the carb. There's an "O" ring for seal as well. And yes they are still available. Check Tower.

Looks like they're backordered right now. I ordered one from a place in Japan and they say mid Nov.
