Which side should I run the pipe on

i would run it on the starboard side so when you toss the boat in or retreve it to adjust with the needle you wont burn your fingers.

Starboard (right side) will make it turn better...... & it`s easier on the fingers

Larry, I ran mine (same setup) with the pipe on the port side. Why? Because everybody else did. I had thoughts also of parting from the norm and putting mine on the right.

Thanks for the replies, boat was originally set up with short stroke nova with an os carb. Needle on the starboard side pipe on the port side. I guess I could try it on both sides and see which setup works the best.
