I've been using a single brass tube with Lubriplate as my lube. Have had zero issues as long as you get it lined up properly.

Exactly, follow the KISS priciple. As for teflon I would only consider it on gas applications where the rpm is lower. I've seen lots of times where the teflon got hot in high rev applications & "became one" with the flex cable. Not pretty....... :unsure:

I wouldnt go with teflon lined, I just took that tube out of the one boat that had it.

Now i for the gas boat, I took the tube, and then stuck in the next smaller tube in the stuffing tube, THE CABLE Still fits, just give more support on the ends and isnt as large on ends for cable.

I did a slight S bend in the boat part, and didnt going out it finished the S bend. Dont need much, but you have to be sure you bends are streight.
