Thank you very much for identifying the boat, now the quest begins to find one. I emailed the current owners of lee craft, hopefully they have the molds.

They weren't very popular,,, I had never seen one till I found the one in the shop in LA. I really liked the looks so I grabbed it.

I have never seen another on the water.

About a year ago, there was one for sale on EBAY,, the seller was in Dawsonville, Ga.

2 of us up in STL raced them mine was decorated with Bud Light colors and decals did really well until youngbloods came out just couldn't ge the speeds that you could with a youngblood. I got a 2nd place finnish at the Memphis open Bob Londress beat me with an OPS 90 not sure what hull he was running and also got a 2nd place the SpringNats at Stone Mountain Dick Tyndall beat me out on that race.

I bought the Leecraft tunnel molds and sold them to Alfred Lanza. There were no mono molds involved. As far as I know, thy are either with Tommy Lee or lost to history.

The mono molds were bought by Karl Sturm.......After Karl died and his personal property was disposed of by his family and the molds disappeared into the sunset..................Rod Geraghty

Can I see a picture of the bottom of that boat? My brother who live in South Carolina bought them from Carl about 7-10 years ago, he wrote an article in Boat Modeler magazine in 93. I have the molds now.
