Since i have ended up with too many motors and not enough boats, i was wondering if anyone had any info on making one motor run the other direction so i could use two on one hull ....... hmm. your thoughts please!

Let the 3.5 motors run the same direction. There won't be that much torque. You will also have a better prop selection. Have the motors connected together with a slight "toe-in".
