I built the DF Sport 40 second edition plans and almost won 98 namba nats with it. 3 first and one DNF because I caught a gust of wind in the back shoot while leading. I would suggest that you make the sponson bottoms steeper and deeper. I added 3/16" to the trail edge and taper that down to the original just before the recovery pad. I had to do this to get the boat to ride right. Otherwise it would hunt because it was riding up on the recoveries down the shoot. I ran the P240 with the tips cup up.
