SG-Front Sponsons

Hey Guys

I have a 67 sg, I noticed that the front sponsons ride surface`s stop even with the rear boom, is that typical, all I have seen extend back past the boom. I was told that this was a John Brown special. any thoughts on this......Thanks James

I have a 67 SG also. Thr trailing edge of the ride surface is even with the rear boom tube.
