Just a friendly reminder... The 2020 Atlanta Model Boaters Spring Nationals will open for entries at midnight on 01/02/20. Entries are being handled via RCRacingEvents.com. We hope to see you there!

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year from the AMB!

We had over 100 boats sign up in the first 20 minutes.

This one is shaping up to be a GREAT race with some top tier racers already signed up.

Don't delay... get those entries in today!

Thanks,
Lamar

We have already hit the 160 boat mark for the 2020 AMB Spring Nationals! If you want your favorite class to make I would suggest entering ASAP as this race is first come, first served. If some classes are sold out and others have no entries the classes with no entries will be scratched to make room for more racers in the SOLD OUT classes!

We sincerely appreciate the interest in our 2020 event!

Thanks,
Lamar

Brad,

There are some classes that may not make the 5 boat minimum cutline. If that happens, I will be adding additional heats to some of the SOLD OUT classes based on the # of ppl wanting to still get into those classes. Being a 2 day race we are limited on the number of heats we can burn through and we dole out the spots on a first come first served basis. If you want I'll add you to the waiting list for B & D Hydro and let you know when/if anything opens up.

Thanks,
Lamar

Great thank you

In less than 24 hours we have hit the 200 boat mark for the 2020 AMB Spring Nats! Thanks so much for your overwhelming support for this event. If you would like to get on the waiting list for any of the SOLD OUT classes just let me know. If any class does not meet the 5 boat minimum we will be scratching that class and opening up additional heats for the SOLD OUT classes with the longest waiting lists.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Thanks,
Lamar

Hi, Lamar I'm going to have to scratch my entry, my racing partner dropped the ball and did not get entered. Maybe next year. Thanks Rod

What hotel are you guys staying at ?

I haven't personally booked anything yet, but suggest staying in Fairburn, GA. Nice newer section south of the pond that is much cleaner/safer than up around the airport. We have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, Country Inn & Suites, Hampton, and Best Western + on the Fairburn exist and all were just fine. It's only a 10-15 minutes drive from the pond and there are plenty of stores and restaurants on the exit.

Thanks,
Lamar

Rod,

What class/classes was your partner trying to get into? I can add him to the waiting list... There are a couple of classes that may not make (based on the early entries). If they end up getting scratched I'll open up a few more heats of the SOLD OUT classes with the longest waiting lists.

Or... I can just scratch you now. Just let me know.

Thanks,
Lamar
