Ok it's deeper than the sponsons

How deep is it from transom? How far forward is the ride surface on sponsons with the boat sitting on strut and sponsons.
Not sure, awaiting some info from his fabricating dept.

Terry, ABC 57x73, and 60x76 are also good round nose props.

Very good advice. My round nose nitros always did best with ABC props.
Think he has 57 x 73 to try, thanks!

Saw Rudy tonight, he's making progress and should be able to run it Sunday.

He had the CG so far forward he has to add over 2 lbs. to the transom to get it to balance 10% back.

Will update Sunday night how it goes.

He rounded the strut, got the balance at 10%, and moved the fin to the inside of the bracket. He set the strut depth so the boat sits flat on the table with the shaft out, we tried angles between 5.5* and 7.5* and ended up about 6.5. That and a slightly cupped 1457 made the ride attitude perfect.

Still a little turn fin work to do (deeper &/or some angle) but it's not hopping in the corners like it did. It does take a bunch of rudder to turn it tho and it actually let go once - but it's getting close.

Here's a short vid:
