Julian,

If you have more boom tubes make a set up that are 4" longer.

The spread from the tub to the inside of the sponson needs to

go out 2" more on each side. You won't believe how much better

the boat will run and corner. I am getting pipes and propellers

ready for next weekend. I will call you today, I was out testing

a new boat yesterday when you called.

Looking Good So Far,

Mark Sholund

Too funny !! .... Julian just contacted me about his little RR twin :D

Sure enough started life with me being a custom tub I built based off an original Bobby Cauldil ( Spelled wrong I'm sure ) built gen 1 Road runner.

It's first lease on life looked like this ....

Scott,

It is Bobby Caudill and he built my very first Roadrunner, a 45, in 1993. All of the rest of my Roadrunners have been built by Ralph.

Yup, original hull acquired circa 1991/93 ... where the hell does the time go ?

Well after almost 7 plus years I get my Roadrunner Twin 21 back in my hands. Now it will get some CMB 21 Beta Evo power with some CMB Nitro pipes.

Im happy to get this boat back. Time to get this boat back in the water very soon.

Heres a update engines fit just fine. But we have to turn down the flywheels, i also got some angle sloped induction setup for this boat, I have to move the pipe mounts forward for my setup, ordered some rumracing mufflers for the CMB nitro pipes.

This boat is going to Mr. Roadrunner (Ralph) this Sunday engines will be finished and on the boat this week.

This boat will be way faster than before since last time it was ran it had Mac 21 engines and with the new ACB Props that will help a great bunch.

Julian,

The MAC-21's worked very good with the 1445's you had in it 7.5 years ago.

Once you get the boat tuned up it should work well. You gotta remember

that boat is only ten or fifteen years younger than you? The Road Runner-21

Twin Resurrection Project For Sure.

Glad I had it in my marina for 7+ years for ya.

Wait until you get the seven year storage bill?

If Im correct this boat was build almost 18 years ago still looks like new. With the CMB Beta Evos this boat should move very well specially when you send me the tools for the back end of the boat

Well more progress on the little twin 21. Boat went to Ralph and we fix some issues with the boat its perfect and squared.

Engines look great with the Mac 21 angle slope setup. Thanks to Andy Brown for the drums, drawbars and back doors plus Mark Sholund for the carburetors.

The drums will be matched by David and he will reseal the bottom of the sponsons then the boat is ready for the water after almost 8 years.

Plus some props by mark will help tremendously getting this boat back in the water
