It's time to thin down some of the "projects" I've had waiting for me for too many years now.

Another project that I'm not going to get finished, although it's VERY close...

This boat started out as an N2-Hydro designed by Brian Buaas. I ran it a few times in FE trim, then it just sat. Then I fabbed the JAE style sponsons and revised the boom mounting and ran it again as an N2-Hydro at the 2012 Nats. Then it sat.

I then started converting it to be a .12 Hydro. I installed a bulkhead and fabbed a fuel tank (hasn't been pressure tested yet), and then primed and painted the whole package with AutoAir color and PPG Clear.

Super nice and clean, the hull HAS been tested (using FE power) in this configuration and it runs great. Light on the water, turns very well... basically, it runs like a rigger.

Pretty close to ready to bolt in your power and radio gear. Includes wire-drive assembly, strut and rudder hardware, turn fin, steering servo mount, etc. See pictures for more detail.

Weight as pictured, including fuel tank, driveshaft assembly, etc., is 1.0lbs.

Make it yours. How about $115.00 shipped in the USA?

It is a very nicely done boat I think. I really do wish I had time to explore Nitro and the .12 class, but...

Darrin,

Would $80 shipped let me buy this experiment? I know I have a good powerplant for this...

Thanks,

Chris

What size is the wire and what diameter couples to the engine?

What is the volume of the tank?

Wire is 1/16. It goes into a 1/8" ID coupler.

Wiredrive is a bit of an experiment on this one. It's an "assembly". You can sort of see that in the picture. I have a spare wire as well.

I'd have to measure the tank. "More than it needs for a .12" is what I was told after I made it...
