What difference would it make having the prop closer to the transom on a mono rather than further away, say 1" from the transom instead of the customary 2-4"?
it will make it a little more squirrely and more difficult to get a good running angle (approx3-4 degrees) at high speed as the wheelbase - transom to prop is shorter
