Start at 8.25"......8" can get a little fussy with some setups.

Not saying that you won't end up at 8" (or less), but better to

start a little longer.

Same recommendation for a CMB 21RS in a rigger? Using a 3280 pipe.

Thanks.

Bill,

for your 21 rigger i would start at about 7 3\4 and work your way down

from there, i'm running about 7-1\4 in my 21 rigger

awsome RPM'S

regards Aaron

Aaron, thats a great set-up you have goin there, must be a light hull and super prop,

have never been able too run my Nova with OPS 3280 at less than 7 7/8" on a 7.25 Lb. hull.

Is this a rear exhaust, because I have a side exhaust and never run one yet. Is there a good reference from the stock manifold for that one?

Hi Jetpack , the one im running is a side exhaust , which i will be trying a tad under 8" (the pipe i have came off a front exhaust motor with a longer header) if it works i wont have to get another pipe !

ill let you know how it goes

Aaron, good luck with your rigger @ 3.8 lbs., I have no doubt you can run it that light,

like to see how you build it that light, and how your passes turn out? For me ,I'm lookin

at just under 6lbs. for next year. Thats good for heat racin in my mind.
