interesting looking Picco marine engine collection you have there. Did you custom machine/modify the water-cooled heads on each engine?

My dad actually did all the custom work. He was a tool maker at GM for 34 years, was a very talented machinist. When he was working, he would make stuff on his lunch hour. He'd stamp the stuff "Made in Russia". When I ask him about why he did that. He said he was always "rushin' " around to make the stuff. He made every thing that we needed. Turn fins, motor mounts, rudders, rudder brackets, etc.

When he retired he bought a Clausing lathe that he used, had it set up so he could do end milling. He had a nice workshop setup so he could still make things.

All the cranks are rebalanced, the flywheels lightened (if needed), exhaust timing bumped up a bit. Rotors lightened/balanced.
