Can you tell me what the strut depth and angle should be set at for a PT sport 40 hull?

Also what is your recommended prop when running a blue head Mac 45 with a parabolic pipe.

Thanks

The strut set at 3/4" deep to the center line of the shaft is a good starting point. The drive tube running straight from the engine thru the strut sets the angle. Adjust dep[th and angle to get the best ride for your boat.

The x450/2 or 450/3, x452. 1455 TE cupped are good props.

We run the same setup. Phil Thomas Sport 40 with Andy Brown MAC engine and Parabolic pipe. Pipe is set at 9 7/8". Have had better luck with the X447 prop then the X450. Much better acceleration. That's where the race is run accelerating to the first turn. Hope this helps. Perry (Perry P. Walter, NAMBA 831)
