OS XM Outboard, Like new

This is a like new OS XM Outboard. It has very little run time, if any. It’s had the crank turbo’d, and the exhaust timing has been raised slightly (via piston cut) by the previous owner. It’s very smooth, has great compression/fit. Includes a very nice CNC prop. Comes with what you see.

Not sure who made it Tom, it has no markings. Looks to be similar to an X442ish prop though, and is quite nice..

It may be that actually. I will pull the prop off again tonight when I get home. I dont *think* it had any markings but could be wrong. I was gonna use it for a little sport boat for my daughter but decided to go a different route.

It actually is an aluminum prop. It has “4214” on the hub face which I would assume to mean 42mm diameter and 1.4 pitch ratio. Basically a nice rendition of an X442.

Someone needs this thing, should be a very nice running engine with the basic mods and it’s essentially brand new. The price of these XMs have gone through the roof....

Any Idea who did the engine work crank turbo flow &  piston cut

I didnt do this one, but ive done a bunch of them like it... Im not sure who did this one. When I owned Ovalexpress Racing I bet I did probably close to 200 of these motors. Great outboards, just wish they made a 7.5 version.

Another stock 7.5 would be great but the numbers would be limited and would be expensive . This motor would not be for stock outboard as it has been modified. This motor is still a good deal. All that needs to be done is new crank and piston and it is stock again. ( for newbees )

Obviously this would not be legal for NAMBA OPC, but would be legal for IMPBA B sport tunnel. Thats why I posted the pics, no surprises. Like I mentioned, its sold anyway. 

I dont even care about a 7.5 OS powerhead, we have NR's for that. I just want an OS 7.5 Lower unit. Id gladly pay the expense for that.
