o/b lower unit

hey guys or gals, trying to deciede on lower drive to go on a xtr 21 . has anybody ran the lawless drive on this hull?

I was running a k&b that worked well ,but I would like feedback on the lawless unit .

It will be used with a rossi power head (if I can find one)

I run a Lawless unit with a Rossi .21 motor on a HTB 260

Big fun fast. The Lawless units are a nice piece of workmanship. ;D

I was using the k&b until i lost it at the pond ,along with my rossi o/b and pipe that was on it . (yes i hit something and it sank to the bottom ) i think i will try the lawless on my next setup . mark, 8)

One nice thing about WOF boats, the hull won't sink . However, you can tear off transoms!!

Tommy designed that boat around the K&B lower unit. The Lawless may work but it puts the prop quite a bit further behind the transom. Height and angle changes will be much more sensitive.

I run a Law Less 21 Outdrive on my WOF 29 tunnel. However, I inset the transom so the prop is about the same distance from the back edge of the sponsons as it would be with a K&B lower unit. This is easy to do with a build up wood or WOF boat, it's not at all that easy to do with a fiber glass hull.
