I never was able to get these boats to run right. they just always wanted to spin out . I had the 45 going pretty good but lost the carb screw that holds the barrel on the picco 45 so now I need find one before I can try it again. they are frustrating how they wont turn well . fast in a straight line is all I can get from them. Even the eaglet is a pain and always wants to spin out. I am unsure what the trick is to make them turn .
 
I hope you'll pardon me jumping into the conversation to ask a dumb question, but I seem to remember that this type of delta flat bottom hull was banned for the mono classes years ago. The rules were changed to require a true V-hull with no flat bottoms or "ride pads" allowed, or something like that? Am I remembering correctly? Why was that?

These things always looked like fun to me...
