Don built several glass boats. This one was built in 1997 Don and his wife signed th tag that ti glassed in.

1993. I know because I got the first one out of the mold. Just like that, 45 size. The signed tag in all of them show 1993 also because that’s when he went to glass. The Daytona wood version came out in 1987. I had one of those too. The Glass boats are actually light weight. Jeff Lutz

Also, are these hulls designed to use a conventional rubber-isolated (side-wall) type mount? Or only a simple plate (supported by wood blocks)?

The hull is 32" it uses a plate supported by wood blocks. All the wood is in the kit. (shown in the pics) The original instructions and sales receipt are in the box
