Needle and CMB 67....

O.K., I'm feeling cheap. I have a couple "small" Don Ferrette needle bases, but none of the "large" ones. Is there any chance a "small" base with the fine O.S. needle work on a CMB .67 Green Head running 50% nitro on a 1/8 scale?

Don is not on this thread as of yet. But if you are asking me, I'll be keeping my small bases. They work on .45 engines as well.

Craig,

The only real difference between the two bases is the size of the hole drilled into the base. PM Don and ask him what the hole size of the large bases and redrill it out. Simple fix. Be sure to use the large OS needle, the one without the groove cut in the knurled knob of the needle.
