Mac Pipe Length-.12

Somewhere in the past, you guys were talking about the

pipe length for a Macs 1110 pipe with a .12 engine in a rigger

but I can't find it now.

I have an OS .12 TR rear exhaust and could use some suggestions

on pipe length to the wide part of the pipe. Also, where on the

engine do you start the measurement?

I think I heard something like 7-3/4" but I don't remember if it was

from the glow plug or what. I also remember measuring with a

piece of solder, which sounds like a good idea.

i got mine all taken appart and cant remember :-

i roughly put it back together and got 8 1/2 inches.... solder method

Hey Tom:

Are you measuring from the glow plug or engine end of the

exhaust manifold?

I know this isn't an exact measurement but it will help me

with the position of my pipe mount bracket.
