mac 84 whats best pipe and rough length

curious of some sugestions of what pipe works well for mac 84. i have the original parabolic pipe but have not been overly impresed. also curious of lengths.

The 67 parabolic pipe works great on that motor when set correctly. 11" to 11 1/8" from the weld to engine centerline measured along the side of the pipe. Also the black AB67 pipe is another good one also at same length. One thing on the MAC84's, do not over prop them, they like to REV!! A 64mm prop with 5.6 - 5.8" cup at the above pipe lengths will rock. An H48 or a cut down 1667 are my favorites on that motor/pipe combination. B)

I second what Don said. Let it scream. Listen to Andys 126mph record pass on the CMDI Web Site. It sounds like an underpropped 45.

same here 67 Parabolic pipes are the best way to go you can get them from Al Hobbs here on IW here currently on vacation in colorado...
