K&B 7.5

I'm new to RC boats but have been into nitro trucks and cars for a long time and have also crashed planes ;D

I bought a Lap Cat 2 on e-Bay and a K&B 7.5 also from eBay. This has been a fun project and the engine was in pretty rough shape, after taking it all apart and polishing it back in to shape the piston and sleeve are wore out. I called K&B but they are out of stock and don't expect to have any until the end of June. Does anybody know any hobby shops that might still have the piston/sleeve for a 8702. Thanks.

Either Al's hobby shop in Ill, or call Jim Irwin. I would NOT count on K&B having them ready by June. That is a good motor. Later on add a pipe.
