K&B 3.5 Eexhaust Throttle

New guy here with a question. I bought a nos 3.5 with the exhaust throttle. Can you enlighten me on the pros and cones of this throttle set-up? Specifically is it a better sport motor than the carb version and worth keeping or should I sell it to fund other projects?

Jimmy back in the day that was a great little motor but depending on what you want to do {play or race} the newer motors are alot faster and more bullet proof. The OS max is the stock out board of choice and I am thinking the new Nova rossi is gonna be the hot new modified motor that you won't have to modify.
