What were you running for power? motor, esc, battery, drive train .130-.150, props. I just finished a .12 JAE that I added 1/2 inch height to accommodate motor and batteries. Starting out with a 13.5 car motor on 2S and going to a 2848 2900kv on 3S. Could also run an AQ2030 on 4S as a 4000ma 4S will fit. The 2S car motor is slow but gets on step with a 535 plastic prop. This is a learning project for a cheap fun runner.

If you look in my photos under Lil rigger, you will see the set up. i am using a used Lepoard 3650 2290kv with a now 120amp hobbywing esc, the AQ you see in the pictures was not enough. All running on a 4s 4000 amh. The prop is from Mark at Props -4-U its a ABC 38 x 63 B/C 3.10"of (T.E.) cup.2.43" of (C.O.B.) pitch. 37.60 mm Dia , on that run, I have a few more props to chose from, this one had great results when it was a nitro.
