Hi mister JD,

i have problems with the glow plug, the glow plu is Mc Coy #9, i use fuel 25%, and the wire of the glow plug remains all twisted, and there is not pieces of metal neither done nothing seem, What would be able to be?, very hot? :(

I am al level of the sea

K&B engine .21 mod

crank shaft turbo 13mm mod

sleeve mod

piston mod

carb O.S. 40B

cooling by water

head clearance 0.0180" in or 0.45mm

glow plug Mc coy #9

I'm not Jerry Dunlap, but the most common reason would be that the engine is too lean. However, you don't mention that the boat stops running, so I suspect the compression ratio is too high. Your head clearance is quite a lot more than most people run as well. Does the piston and squish area of the head look sandblasted? If so, you are getting detonation. The standard K&B head should have close to the correct volume. Try running it with .008 inch (.2mm) head clearance.

Hi guys,

the engine not stop running, and goes very quick, and is but the glow plugs himself does not burn, alone the wire of the orifice leaves

i am going to test to see that it happens.
