I am finishing up my blizzard outrigger and need to choose a prop. I am debating two motors also a 10x2 or a 15x4. I will run 8 cells and want to go as fast as possible. Any ideas on a prop or any other ideas on how to make this boat scream?

Try this link http://www.fastelectrics.com/octuraprops.htm

before you choose the prop - choose the motor

generally 9-10 turn is good for 6 cells if you are racing and want to do lots of work

the 15 turn is closer to an 8 cell wind. A 12 (D5 generation) -13 (D4) might be more satisfactory.

The 10 turn wont last long on 8 cells unless its a large comm motor.

The prop - generally something like the X430 X432 should be a good place to start and work up to something with more speed as you get the hull setup
