has anybody seen the microjet turboprop units? what class would that be? kerosene is a gas right?

all i'm looking at is the 32,000 shaft rpm and the sixty horsepower, i thought it might be usefull

it says the whole unit weights 7.5lb. now if finished weight on the boat is say 12.5 lb(has to be a big boat) that would give you 3 horses per pound. that sounds like fun!

Ingest a little water into the turbine and then see how much fun it is :unsure:

now at the temps a turbine runs at wouldnt it turn to vapor before it could do any real damage? how do the full size unlimited deal with the water? :unsure:

In the service we water washed the turbines every night. Of coarse they were'nt hot and had no fuel in them.
