gas scale first runs

finally got my U31 to the pond today with much help from fellow district 14 racers, first runs were without fins and with a 2 bladed 2716 prop, hull was very flighty and we kept dropping the strut and putting some angle on the strut which seemed to help.next we tried a 3 bladed 2716 and it seemed to lift the transom better but was still carrying left sponson on the straight aways, i think i am going to add some weight to that sponson. the Rcmk ran perfect and seemed to halve plenty of steam. i brought both my video camera and still camera but never got them out of the explorer............

going down front stretch, left sponson being carried all the way............need more run time, Saturday?

If the boat is running that flat and strong, I would not sweat it much! The boat looks to be locked in. Is it bouncing and loose? Mike
