FORA K45 ENGINE

Hi guys,
I would like to know if anyone knows this engine:

K45 manufactured by FORA.
I think it's not the same as that made by Kalistratov, but it looks like...
it is sold without a carburetor.

It is the same exact engine. Kalistratov did not make most of the parts for the K engines. Others in Russia made parts for him. Fora may be one of them.

There is also a German version using some parts made in Germany. Frank Werner's project.

Is this engine is as powerful as the CMB 45 VAC or MAC?

Christophe,

In stock form the engine is a little less powerful than the VAC or MAC, but it runs easy without detonation which can be a problem on the VAC or the MAC. I have modified them and made them very powerful.

The quality of materials is very high. The engine is a good value for the price.
