For anti virus programs I use Microsoft's Security essential's. Its free from microsoft and includes automatic updates and did i say its for free? http://www.microsoft.com/security/pc-security/mse.aspx

I get on control panel/system and security/adminstrative tools and clean up my unused and unneccesary files there.... doing that and also use disk defragmenter in your control panel makes a huge difference if you havent done it before.

Well a update on my slowvarosi computer: Removed several harmful things and a trojan hiding under the name of java...

Still slow but a bit faster since it's not taking up all my memory....

Norton is excellent!

Norton is very good, but it does take up a lot of your Pc's resources.
