2005 Carrollton Classic

Dallas R/C Thunderboats

District 7 Race Nitro/Gas/Electric !!!

When: April 30 - May 1

Where: Mckinnish Sport Park Complex, Carrollton Texas

Directions: From I35 E , go 1.3 Miles West on Sandy Lake Road and then turn left into the MckInnish Park, pond on the left.

IMPBA Rules

95dB @ 50ft. Muffled Pipe or Muffler required on all engine classes except .21 size and under engines.

3 boats minimum to make class

Classes:

•B Hydro, Mono

•Open Tunnel

•D & E Hydro

•F Hydro

•Open Mono (30cc max)

•SLS Gas Mono (32cc max)

•Sport 20

•Sport 40

•LS27 Gas Mono

•Open Gas Hydro

•1/8 Scale

•Open Offshore

•LS27 Gas Cat

•Open Cat (30cc max)

•LS27 Gas Sport Hydro

***Electric Classes***

•LSH 12 Cell Limited Sport Hydro

•Open up to 24 cell (max)

•Open up to 32 cell (max)

Schedule:

Friday April 29 - Open Water after 12:00PM

Saturday April 30 -Drivers meeting @ 8:30AM, Race @ 9:00AM

Sunday May 1 - Race Starts @ 9:00 AM

Hey Eric,

I didn't Know ya'll where going to have e-boats there. That should be interesting for sure! Mr. Shuhart told me back in January the he and a few others where getting into them. Thats cool. B)

There was a typo on the noise requirement. It is per new IMPBA specs of 95dB at 50' not 90dB. Actually it's more like 125" - The sound meter is 25" from the water's edge to the boats in lane 1 which is about 100' at our pond. :blink: Hey I didn't write the rule. :lol:

That's correct we have installed a decibel meter 25 inches above the bouy :unsure:

Riph is correct , that was a typo on my part.
