i've seen the big block motors with more than .025 on the rotor!Matt,
The motors do need work from the factory. The disk clearance needs to be set between .002" and .004". It usually comes with .010~.014" of clearance. The head volume should be around 1.1cc with the head button on the engine, piston at TDC measuring to the top of the glow plug threads. This assumes you are running around 40~45% nitro content. The moders listed above can all help you out or you can perform this yuorself with reasonable machining access.
