Ok I just picked up a Champion racing Hydro.

It has a Vertex .18 motor in it.

What percent nitro do I run in it.

I have 60 for my 21 outboard. Is that to much?

It also has a plastic prop. What real prop should go on it?

Can I race it in Sport 21 class?

Will it need a turn fin?

lets see some pics! i run 45%-50% in my 18's and yea you want a metal prop as for size im no good at that lol

Where did you find it at? what was the price sharp looking boat. i would be itnersted in geting one.

That sure looks like a Pro Boat "Knock Off" to me.

I think thats the purplelights boats they make..bet there one of proboats subcontracters that was making there hulls..plus that is a 1/12 scale too.

I picked the boat up off ebay.

The price was 200 to my door never seen fuel or water and I got it and it has never seen water or fuel.

Boat is fiberglass and not plastic. Bonus.

Wondering if it would be worth adding a turn fin and what prop to add to the boat.

I figured to boost up the nitro to about 55-60 and let her fly.

Octura Y535 seems to be a popular choice for that size boat/engine.

Mark Sholund over at Props 4 U has good props and prices!

Check him out
