Any clubs running cats with tunnels, in P LTD/ SPEC? IMPBA rules, state a cat is a form of a tunnel.

Not in our area; nor am I aware of any place actively running both in the same class. As I recall regarding IMPBA (speaking Nitro) cat's run in the hydro class not in the outboard class.

interesting topic... I can tell you this, my FE P-LTD VS-1 tunnel is pretty fast, but I would get my Ar$$ handed to me with a reasonably set up RTR P-LTD catamaran.

Later,

Mike

Namba lists their tunnel classes with the OPC which means "outboard. The local rules used by IMPBA clubs should specify their rules as outboard as unless written that way a case could be made for a cat or an outboard hull converted to inboard.
