I am setting up an Aeromarine cat for Jeff Maturo and we are trying out a Mamba XL2 controller. Being he cat has a lot of airspace I am leaving the fan on figuring it will cool better than water tubes. Then too be sure I drilled holes in a cooling plate to act as a radiator over the fan. The fan will cool the ESC with the boat stopped before and after a run. Using a Castle 1717/1600kv motor on 6S , will start with M447 and work up from there. Have a Neu 1527 1Y 1250kv for 8S also. Any opinions or experience with this hardware welcome.

I have used them with with great success. I used ETTI cooling plates attached to the sides with arctic alumina thermal transfer adhesive.

Where do I get the AATT adhesive? Extra cooling tubes can't hurt.

Google "arctic alumina" v you will get a ton of results.,it is used as an adhesive for cpu cooling in computers.

36" avenger pro, 1527 1y on 6s turning a P235. It is setup for 4 minute offshore heats.
