Hi guys heading to the US next year and plan on driving from LA to Vegas. What car hire companies do you recommend??

i worked for budget rent a car as a mechanic quite a few years back. they took pretty good care of the vehicles & customers. not sure how they are today, although i did rent 2 24' trucks from them when i moved from florida to virginia, no problems........

Yep, You can have one reserved when you land- should not need anyone to pick you up at the airport. My Sister travels a lot and rents cars often. She showed up today in a Chevy Spark??? Must be a hybred only has a 9 gallon gas tank but a 4 door 4 seater. Gas in CA is around $4.00 a gallon now.
