Congratulations Allen, nice Crapshooter 40 hydro and congratulations to Barry Petrowski and Brian Roach. Barry and Brian showed up after at least 5 years of inactivity and ran a very smart race to place 3rd F Hydro and 2nd F Mono. I'll see you guy's in Huntsville.

Hey,

I'll put a plug in for my younger brother, Scott Huff. This was Scott's first race since 1990 (he was 12 years old in 1990) and he placed 1st in LSG 23-30 and 3rd in LSG Open. Way to go...

Many thanks to the AMB for putting on a first class event.

2 questions.

Did Dave Roach run his new 21 blackjack and how did it look?

What hull did Dave Showers Sr. win F Hydro with.

Thanks.

Hey,

I am getting back into boats after a 12-14 year lay off so I am not familiar with Dave Roach. I did see a very nice natural finish .21 hydro with BLACKJACK lettering in orange sitting in the pits. Unfortuantely I did not pay any attention to how it ran.

I think David Showers was running one of his Reptile riggers in F Hydro.

I saw Dave Roach along with Brad who builds the Black Jack testing in Dayton. It was really rough but I have to say, the boat was **** stable in really tough water. Too bad he didn't have good fortune in Atlanta. I know there are some more people building these boats. Should be another top choice in B Hydro.

I am building a reptile racing F rigger with CMB 90. Glad to see one finishing well.

Hey Lamar,

I too am a returning boater after a layoff of several years. We raced against each other in all but one heat in B mono. Had a blast! Who knows, if I didn't cut 2 buoys in round 4, we could've tied or had a runoff. Anyway, I've included a shot of "Tracerbobs Red ball express" in action. You would'nt have been the red boat in the shot would you? Till next time. :D

Hey Bob,

No that's not me... I was running the yellow & white Seaducer. I thought I had the boat dialed in prior to the race, but boy was I wrong... The pipe was too short, it wouldn't "get up", the mixtue was off, etc... Luckily I finished every heat and caught a few lucky breaks.

I need to do a lot more testing before the next race...

I had a good time though.

Lamar
