Stroke is the same @21.3 MM. Think the bore P/S is the only diff.

so if I replace the 67 p/l with an 80 p/l ,then will that engine become an .80 or will it be a .77.. if so , can the same be done to the cmb purple head 67hydro-99

yes you can put a 80 sleeve on the gold head 67 and make it a 77 been done by D wilfong and it runs great.. you might have to get a different head button im not sure the 67 and 80 use the same one

The wrist pin on the 80 is slightly longer. I got an 80 wrist pin from a vendor by mistake ( I oredered a 67) and tried to install in on a 67 piston. I must have lost half a dozen clips before I put the calipers on it and realized that they were longer. The extra length was slightly covering up the groove for the clip in the piston. I said a few bad words in the process!
