Now the next question. Where do I get the two part foam? ??? I haven't seen it in hardware stores and I was in a marine shop yesterday and didn't see any.

Nitrocrazed racing: Hard to get...

I get a lot of Fiber Glass stuff from Marcel at Composite Marketing in Elizabeth, try him and mention me, he is very helpful.

I have also seen 2 part foam at Bunnings but I don't know the quality.

I've used 2 part many times w/o problems.

I always used the stuff from SIG Mfg.

I don't see it on their online site, but it is listed in their printed catalog.

i have recently been using plain old styrofoam for my flotation, im planning on using it on my circus circus. i get it free from my local fish store, they get it from their fish suppliers... the lids are already flat, 1" thick, and easily cut with bandsaw, table saw, kitchen knife etc.

won't expand, won't absorb water, epoxies well, and readily sands to shape...

Shnick ;D

Hmmmm yes and Styrofoam and Nitro mix so well.... into this sticky gunky NON BUOYANT mess..... That will take ages to remove from your boat. If you do use Styrofoam make sure there is no way it will come into contact with fuel. it must be totally sealed with epoxy or in a sealed area of the boat.

EMS Racing Can you tell this happened to me?
