Hey John-

Get yourself some thinstock aluminum as long as the length the pipe needs to be. Then get a flat piece of soft foam about say an inch thick & approx. two foot square. Use the type of foam that you might see electronics packed in. Then using a kitchen rolling pin lay the aluminum sheet on the foam (which needs to be on a very flat smooth surface) and applying smooth firm pressure roll the pin across the aluminum. The sheet will begin to curl as you roll slowly back & forth until you reach the approximate diameter exhaust tube you need. It might take a few "practice pieces" to get the feel for it but once you do it's real easy. As for polishing just polish as you would any piece of aluminum. :)

Another great tip from the master, beats trying to form it around a piece of PVC pipe. Been there done that a few times, if the wife or mom doesn't have a rolling pin it's well worth the investment.
