what size props should i start with on a 1/8 scale hydro its got an .80 motor

Try an X-457-3 blader & work from there. >80 not legal for 1/8th scale racing, has to run in Open Hydro.

thanks yeah i know its not legal Thers no races even close to me though so its just for play

Try a prather 250 and go from there, they also come in stainless steel as well

460 or 462, or a 1457.

Well on my 1/8 scale boats I have run 1462, 1465, P250, & P255. These will all work well with the 80. You may even go bigger.
