Re:a better 3.5 k&b flex shaft? One of the biggest problems I have found out is that breakage is not usually torque alone. If you do not flush out the outdrive shaft, water will stay in there. Now there are those who will are that water does not go in the tube from either lube or drain hole...

What I do for after run is to disconnect the fuel tubes and exhaust tubes. Turn it over with the starter and glow heater on. Run all the nitro out of the engine if any is left. Then I use the transmission fluid as described before. Billy R.

High nitro does cause more corrosion if left in the engine. I have been using automatic transmission fluid as after run oil. I flush everything out of the engine, take the plug out, disconnect fuel lines, fill if with ATF, and turn the hell out of it. Then do it al over again. It lubes the...
