Has anyone successfully sanded and polished out orange peel in clear coat in just a couple spots without having to sand and buff the hole boat?

Is there a rule of thumb or percentage to shoot for on left side vs right side balance centerline on a hydro? I understand having more weight left of center to counter prop torque but how much is a good starting point?

What is an 1/8th scale size diameter for a wing strut on a modern era hydro? The RC Boat Company strut kit uses a 3/16” diameter aluminum rod. Is this close to scale? I think most of the big boats in reality run an airfoil (elliptical) shaped strut.

I want to use total boat 2-part pour foam in my 1/8 scale. Does anyone have a proven way to figure how much to install? I want to install before I put my decks on.
