On the Cmd website they say .008 for clearance on their .21. I'm at .015 with a .002 head shim. Am I stuck trying to find a lathe to fix this or does this make enough of a noticeable difference in performance to even worry about it. Thanks for any and all help. Dave

shoboat, No I haven't seen the new boats you are talking about. Not to say they are not out there just have not seen any. Still hung up on old V-drives I guess. The Rules are trying to make the class competitive. Thats All. Doesn't matter inside or out.

I think the idea is to look some what like the full sized boats that have the strut and prop under the hull
