YEs my son use to run a Jr. Dragster, We ran pure methanol with a strawberry smell additive, had to be a 5 hp Brigs Block, but cylinder welded with 2'x1/4" aluminum plate to hold it in place, Bored Stroked dyno at 42 hp. running one time in San Antonio . on a cold spring morning, 7:58 in the 1/8 after more head and clutch work turning 8500 rpms. Jr. Dragsters max was 7.90 time in the 1/8th. We about got kicked out of the meet, HAd to detune the clutch and and thicker head gasket ! Was always ready for the season to start the methonal burning, and nitro cars firing up in the pits.
